Every life has a story. And the best stories are often found in the little things.

The stories we remember most aren’t always the big milestones. They’re the expressions someone used, the music they loved, the stories they told over and over, the way they made us laugh, and those wonderfully unique things that simply made them them.

Those are the stories I want to hear.

My role as a celebrant begins by listening. I’ll take the time to learn about the person you love, hear your stories and get to know a little of who they were through the people who knew them best. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that feels genuine, personal and reflects the person you knew and loved.

I don’t believe there is one right way to say goodbye. A service can be traditional or something entirely your own. It can include faith, spirituality or neither. There may be tears, but there can also be laughter, favourite music and stories that leave people smiling.

I’ve spent much of my life working with people and years behind a camera, where I learned that some of life’s most meaningful moments are often the little ones we almost overlook. I bring that same curiosity, attention and care to my work as a celebrant.

You don’t need to know exactly what to say or what the service should look like. We’ll figure that out together.

You bring the memories. Together, we’ll tell their story.

And we’ll create a farewell that reflects who they were, how they were loved, and the place they held in our lives.
