Marks, Anne

Anne was born and raised in Hampton, Ontario. Her early career was in Film and Entertainment Administration but after the birth of her first child, her career direction took an immediate turn. Anne’s focus moved immediately to raising her son who was born with Cerebral palsy, Hydrocephalus and Quadriplegia. Through her connection with a group of mothers with children who have special needs, she became a founding member of the For the Love of a Child Children’s Charity. She continues to work directly with this charity today. She has enjoyed a career in Customer Service for over 20 years assisting her peers to reach their full potential and follow their passion.

In 2018, after the death of her son and planning his funeral, it was clear where her passion lay. Anne has always been a source of comfort over the years assisting family and friends who had lost a loved one. She was always the one who could put their thoughts into words of comfort and guide them through the most difficult of times in their lives. Her compassionate messaging and personal experience have been key in her ability to help others.

As a Certified Life Celebrant, Anne offers guidance, coaching and comfort while assisting families in planning and officiating a unique celebration of life specific to their loved one. Every person’s life is special and deserves to be honoured and remembered. Remembering is healing.
