Carolyn Zaikowski is death doula, hospice volunteer, and creative writing instructor with a background in mental health case management and trauma studies. She is interested in death work as a part of community activism and engagement, and is deeply honored to be able to walk beside people as they navigate the various emotional complexities, social and cultural norms, and at times, the trauma and disenfranchised grief that can accompany death and loss. She lives and works in Western Massachusetts, USA.
